Has PP ever voted *for* anything?

I'm very sorry to hear that your wife is ill. I don't/can't garden these days either and miss it terribly. Perhaps you should try not to get too good, too quickly. Thanks for mentioning PAT!

So perhaps you ought to consider yourself the exception which proofs/proves the rule. For many, many of your fellow citizens, what Kellerman said = factual.

Are those bars better than Melona? Asking for a friend who's a bit of an addict.

Even the boat is white.

Canada did the same to 22,000+ Japanese-Canadians. Mayne Island (which you can visit via BC Ferries) was once home to a thriving population which supplied fresh produce to Vancouver Island and the mainland. Now there's a Japanese garden: small, lovely, and maintained by volunteers.

Sorry, I don't see your point. Could you please explain?

You're joking, right? PP is MAGA-adjacent.

Should I laugh? Should I cry?

Fine. So don't speak for me.

Don't speak for Canada, please.

My limited Spanish didn't cover his surname, "Enojado", so I looked it up. It means angry!

I find the US two-party system unsettling. Yes, Canadians tend to vote for the same party all their lives but it *feels* different when choices abound. I'm a bit of an exception: I didn't vote for a candidate I'd worked hard for but who I felt had fallen victim to The Peter Principle.

Way beyond my skill level, alas. But I have all the tools . . .

He responded to me with do-it-yourself instructions. I tried checking his numbers in the way he directed me to, and got nowhere. After I looked at his page, I realized I shouldn't have been surprised, so I muted him. Waste of time and effort . . .

Source?

I agree. It also looks to me as if the bike lane WAS cleared earlier on but some plow driver couldn't be arsed.

Zing!

Sometimes I wonder what various ducks are searching for but sometimes I'd rather not know . . .

Deets on request, if you're really interested and if I have the time today.

Always. We gave students paperwork on the drill when they signed up, tested their knowledge on Day 1, and were rigorous about fitting the kapok lifejackets (in the days before self-inflating SOSpenders) for their own safety. I wouldn't have a clue what would work for a wooden skiff (no centreboard).

Insense makes me sneeze uncontrollably, but yeah. Much more therapeutic than the caramel fudge I'll be making soon-ish.

Me: You didn't secure the bailer to the stern cleat? Guess you'll have to bail with your hands, Mr. Jones.
Mr. Jones: Those were my favourite sunglasses, damn you.

Years ago, I worked for a sailing school operating in Toronto harbour. Part of our cirriculum -- which we warned people about -- was to have their instructor deliberately dump their 15' Albacore sailboat and its 2 (or 3) students. Hard work even in almost calm winds. Lifejackets become dead weight!

I made >11 dozen chocolate-chip cookies this afternoon and froze most of them for delivery at the holidays. No time constraints for me!
