Flooding on the Kichesippi River today. Reminds me of the flood of war crimes Palestinian people are watching rise every day. When will the world, and Canada respond? #freepalestine🇵🇸❤️🍉

How many days of open starvation of an entire population of human beings by a client state of Canada before we say something? Silence from politicians, and our feckless and complicit media. @cbcnews-rss.bsky.social Speak up! FFS!

Bertolucci’s film 1900 is an absolutely brilliant depiction of the rise of facsim in Italy. Best performance of a nazi by Donald Sutherland. Chilling. What’s a little known film you always tell people they need to see if they missed it?

CBC National news just showed a short clip of a war crime near a hospital in Gaza. Adrienne Arsenault failed to mention in her report that in the small fires they showed, one of her own colleagues was burning alive. He was not a fighter, but a journalist named Ahmed Mansour.

A wonderful, powerful book by the talented Omar El Akkad. D So personal and so universal. The gift of good prose with a searing truth to tell. Thank you for this art. #freePalestine 🇵🇸 now more than ever.

Another evening of horror for the indigenous people of Palestine. Canada must recognize the Palestinian state and people. Is it all down to simple racism? Imagine for a second if the 130 plus children who died last night lived in Israel or Ottawa? Would there not be outrage? Where is the humanity?

Blood moon was awesome this morn. But at 230 am. I stayed up so late I’m going back to nap now. I’m old.

It’s true that sometimes worrying about fascism can make you lose sleep at night. But please try to get your sleep whenever you can - we need it to fight the fascists!

I’m a big fan of your work. Fabulous. As a Canadian cartoonist I’m not sure I subscribe to the Mountie trope in this one piece. RCMP were put into place to keep the native people in line. Basically a thug for hire group. American films created the true blue myth. Not a criticism just a point.
