On opening the app we need it to pick up at the post last read not at the latest one. As is it's frustrating and difficult to use.

Agree. There are things which need to be sorted and while some of that can be done on the practice field much can only be done in a game environment when the pressure is on. Injuries can occur in practice anyway if that's the main worry.
