Delays were fatal all around. One of the worst crimes in US history & none of the planners received so much as a tap on the wrist. The legal system failed America.

One reason there wasn't a WWIII was that Truman, Marshall & Co. didn't take the USA home after WWII. Except for Trump, American administrations have been vigilant for the past 80 years at upholding the alliance. Enterprises (sports teams, companies, ...) have "glue guys." The Yankees are glue guys.

I feel like an alien in my own country. Don't see the appeal in Trump AT ALL. Just a repulsive, corrupt creature to me.

Sure looks like it. His feet should have been put to the fire years ago. John McCain gave his thumbs down, on repealing the ACA, primarily because there was no "replace" to go with the "repeal." Trump was trying to substitute nothing for something.
