It occurred to me that the reason he keeps speaking to the women this way I because they're the only ones asking him questions he doesn't like. All the men are too scared of being spoken to that way. Women are used to it.

Deyna’s one of those odd players who perform better for the national team than her club. Aside from 2 good years at Atlético she hasn’t produced much for either Man U or Thorns. I saw much more from Tordin.

Consistency. Macca complained (mildly) about the constantly changing four in front of her and how it made things difficult. The rotating attacking 3 seemed to be based on vibes.
Experience as a head coach. One with a good reputation helps attract talent.

I don't have any problem with trading Linnehan. She would have been out of contract at the end of the season, and with Weaver and Hanks returning next year I don't think they were going to extend her. She got a fresh start and Thorns got some cash.

You have Moultrie, Coffey, and Fleming in midfield. Who does Hina start over? My understanding is that she wanted more money than Thorns were willing to pay for a backup. Getting Vignola and a bunch of cash and sending her somewhere she could start was a nice bit of business (and it is a business.).

I don't know, Sam Coffey didn't seem that content with the way the season went. Consistency seems like a pretty core soccer reason.

I think Agoos has done a good job securing young talent, and I certainly trust him more than any of his predecessors to find a stronger manager.

Gale was a knee-jerk hire to the firng/promotion of a knee-jerk hire. I'm still disappointed that we couldn't keep Rhian Wilkinson around though I agree she had to leave under the circumstances.
