I would love to understand what the media strategy is in a brittle and already very unpopular chancellor doing two interviews in two days moaning about how people don't take her seriously enough, the week before what will most likely be her last budget.

The BBC needs a new DG who can help them navigate a future of finding funding outside the licence fee you say.

The Baader Meinhof Complex is a terrific film, even more so should you ever try to slog through the terrible source material. In the end I skipped to the bits I was interested in and even they were turgid.
