It's OK, Ruadh. The Kim sisters and other South Korean musicians before and after 'em mainly made Korean folk or pop music, all right. It's just that K-Pop as a term for Korean pop music didn't really emerge until the early 2000's, I believe, and please don't quote me on that, 'cos I might be wrong.

K-Pop as we know it didn't exist at the time they were active, but they performed in both South Korea and the USA, including a stint in Las Vegas, where I live, too.
