I care that the art I engage with is made by humans, regardless of how "good" the tech may become, that is the underlying contention, that is important to me and cannot be bargained away. I'm sick of hearing about compromise this and middle ground that, do you want to hear my compromise?

People get ice cream makers as gifts and never use them so they end up on Craigslist dirt cheap. Pick one up and then you can make your own ice cream (or sorbets or ice cream from coconut milk & cream for vegan/lactose-intolerant friends or whatever you'd like). They're great
