When will there be information available on the 4th conference on negative emissions, supposed to be hosted by IIASA next year?

DAC is largely needed primarily for CCU (e-fuels). Why novody thinks if that is a miracle - maybe because integrated assessment models do not include the technology - with the past bias of the @ipcc.bsky.social report on IAMs it not ended up in the last assessment report.

This would be true for a current policy scenario. Our study does not do this - but rather deploys a best policy scenario: Massive investments in renewable energy, net-zero emission system by 2050 and subsequent removal of 500 GtCO2 for 1.5°C and 1750 GtCO2 for 1.0°C by 2100.
