Tasty too by all accounts but you have to be pretty damned careful not to confuse it with the Funeral Bell.

Great - thanks!

Dang - that is frustrating. Was it agreed to be bonafide?

What a fabulous idea! 👍🏻👍🏻

They certainly are. Last seen in Croatia c. 2016.

Yeah not bothering with traps. Am trapped out for the year.

Lovely! Still yet to see one in the UK, though I haven't made any effort to see it. Am saving it for the special occasion that seeing it will be.

Yes - not a moth to be trusted.

Indeed! ✊️Was pleased with the one moth. Will give it another run tonight - it's ridiculously mild but very windy.

😁🤞

Nice! Am without a Winter Moth this winter, mainly through lack of trapping, though I have been running the anglepoise actinic on the off chance.

Absolutely! Would do it again. No regrets.

😀 Well, I helped out @wheatersdave.bsky.social the other day with his Scarce Umber. So this mysterious force still seems to be strong with me. If anyone would like to magic me a Short-eared Owl or Yellow-browed Warbler I'd be eternally grateful.

😁That's too long not to have seen Stonechats! "Mine" are elusive, you never know quite where they're going to pop up though there's one area in particular that they favour. Had them along the railway line itself for the first time a few weeks back and once along the banks of the brook.
