I am also worried that Firebase and similar can lead to slightly jarring experience, hosting costs, or privacy/compliance concerns.

Jots is a focused home for early ideas — more guardrails than a notes app, before project management. We’re at a very early iOS prototype, building this outside our day jobs.

Real talk: ideas everywhere — notes, stickies, chats — and most never get the validation or structure to become real. One line we hear a lot: “I have too many ideas scattered all over the place.”
