I was reacting a bit dramatically because I'm sensitive, but it's not as bad as I made it out to be. I think it was largely a concern about the neighbors seeing because we don't have curtains on all the windows yet, and that's valid. And they probably just need to be eased into it more

I guess I'm just never going to escape the shame and isolation of this being such a core aspect of myself. I've come so far in my life but I'll just never have any security in being my whole self because of this. I'll always have to hide it away & live my life without color whenever I leave my room
