You make this sound like the streamer is making their thousands of viewers join discords and meet and greets and donations and spending money on them. No self respecting streamer makes their community do this. They do it because they like the content. It sucks to say but a large majority of people

The unfortunate truth that I wish was not so, is that the metrics show from a lot of these content creators is that the largest amount of people who actually show up to the streams come from Twitter. They click the link via the tweet. Thats the unfortunate truth and they cant just stop that feasibly

Okay, Koor. The thing is here though that in order to pull the big numbers, to really make your living off of streaming, both to survive and to make your content more interesting and fresh to watch for the masses, you have to stretch your discoverability out to as many places as you possibly can.
