Wholeheartedly agree!! Sometimes I prep a few ingredients early in the day n cook em later. Or marinate a big batch of protein so whenever hunger strikes that week u can just throw it in the pan. It can be so fun n rewarding [especially when the people who eat ur cooking like it too]

You can craft and explore whole new worlds, shape language, textures, whatever comes to mind. There is literally no boundaries. To then put a piece on a pedestaly that could have been shot entirely irl seems somewhat disrespectful the Animation as a medium.

Now it is an impressive piece of 3D animation - it's well directed and it looks great, the realism is crazy but- To call it the end all be all of animation is insane. Sure, achieving realism is neat but the strength of both 2D n 3D is that u can do ANYTHING.
