Having a psychological practice before and now through the development of social media, I have found that the nature of the followed/friended account matters. e.g. professional accounts yes, but personal accounts no. That is what has worked for me.

True, place and time does influence but does not need to determine world view and behaviors.

I won’t be defined by my birth year. These are media created social constructs that seem to perpetuate group think, agism, etc.
