Norm and I were friends for a long time on facebook, and even got to meet (he gifted me the line art for my pfp). We didn't always agree on everything but we had great conversations over those differences.

I actually think this is a smart move.
If donnie-boy keeps ramping up, he looks more like an asshole. If he backs down, taking the offramp, he can still claim "victory".
