I'm surprised it didn't already exist. GPIB was a common lab equipment interface, so I would have thought that someone would have a need to interface it to Linux. I have twice designed hardware for GPIB in test equipment. GPIB is much simpler than interfacing to things like USB

That would have been the Intercontinental hotel, also in Addison. TFF was at the Crowne Plaza from 2008 through 2013. They outgrew the Crowne and moved to the Intercontinental, then outgrew that and went downtown to the Hyatt Reunion, then outgrew that, and is now in the downtown Sheraton

There were plans to turn it into a retirement facility, but it looks like that plan died. There's a Marriott Courtyard on the north side, so there will be two adjacent Marriott hotels.

It was "circle con" upstairs where the fursuit parade would go in a circle a few times. Ballrooms were upstairs also. Bar was downstairs in the atrium.

The first streaming version I saw had "speaking Spanish" everywhere. Later they fixed it. I specifically wanted to know what Death Wolf was saying at the end of the bar scene, and it said "speaking Spanish"

It's on github. Run Powershell as admin (right click, run as admin) and cut and paste the script execution line in the instructions under "How to use" on this page. It automatically pulls the latest copy of the script from github.
