Playing submission jenga is almost more of challenge than writing a good story sometimes! And when you consider the competition and acceptance rates, it can feel very daunting, so it’s nice to hear that someone who’s been doing it successfully for as long as you have is annoyed by it as well!

When will you guys be opening to submissions again?

Also, my wife was incredibly understanding and helped out taking our son to hockey and tournaments and a million other things, really helps to have someone you can rely on

I did Odyssey while working full-time, being short-staffed, and dealing with a medical issue, and I basically just had to embrace the chaos and realize that I’ll have time to relax eventually, and remind myself how much I’m learning and growing. Also, ice cream.
