This may be one of the dumbest, most selfish, and most conspiracy-inflaming tweets I've ever seen from a world leader. Yeesh.

Only somewhat related to your post but this line, man. This is the most 1996 coded/West Wing style line that we never see in natl politics anymore — “we share the same goals, but just disagree on how to get there”

And to hear it coming out of Trump’s mouth about Mamdani, wow

Good for Josh Landis being clear and going to bat for his junior faculty

Step 1) Draft pro-Kremlin “peace plan.”

Step 2) Get American useful idiots to sell it as U.S. proposal.

Step 3) Announce that your own plan is “largely acceptable," demanding more while appearing to be the agreeable side

Yes, Dems hate America Noah — that’s why they had an unprecedented 7-million-person peaceful nationwide protest of people waving American flags and trying to save our form of government 🙄

In my book Seeing is Disbelieving, I argue people removed from wars are susceptible to lies about them while those on the frontline are generally far more accurate in their beliefs.

In fact, I actually recommend in the book's conclusion that frontline activists have a "local source" tag in war

I hope folks grasp the enormity of this change on X, with one's country now being visible

Thoughts:

1) Broken as X is, this is a serious social good. The ability to misrepresent where you are online is key to troll farms, influence ops, and the pollution of our info environment. Now masks are off

I always kinda thought this was the internet reading too much into a still image, but I guess it was real
November 23, 2025 at 1:56 AM
What in the

Now WaPo turning on Trump along with Mamdani as anti-capitalists
November 22, 2025 at 3:01 AM
Lol at NYT, after everything, having to roll with a smiling triumphant Mamdani looking down on Trump as lead story
November 21, 2025 at 10:35 PM
I dunno, if you mean American Jews I think opinion on the settlements is mixed but generally pretty negative

Here’s a little sampling of some of the Truth Social replies to Trump’s “Seditious behavior, punishable by DEATH!” post

Some glimmers of real Parler pre-J6 posting visible there

Shocker! “Concepts of a plan” is now officially no plan, just kill Obamacare and let the market sort things out

Online child sexual abuse material (CSAM) has been getting noticeably less attention and follow-up from authorities, per NYT, as the DHS is overwhelmingly used for Stephen Miller’s immigration crusade

FCC Chair Brendan Carr just shared a Truth Social post from Trump calling for Seth Meyers to be fired

Interesting. MTG goes mostly for the high road, though accuses Trump of having venomous paid (!) internet trolls and throws in a dash of Epstein
November 15, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Like, even in that flawed Deciding to Win report, the 2nd-most-popular Dem policy is “banning Congressional stock trading.”

That is fundamentally about corruption, about fairness! It is not (in the narrow sense in which they mean it) a “kitchen table issue”

It’s about a rigged system screwing you
November 15, 2025 at 5:48 PM
2 others major NYT stories covered Epstein’s 2018 trial(s) which were ultimately settled

www.nytimes.com/2018/11/29/u...

www.nytimes.com/2018/12/04/u...

I only found one passing reference to Trump in either one

This kind of negatively polarized framing is so annoying

“Trump is bad, therefore we should criticize his entente with jihadi Syria”

Never mind it’s probably a good thing and we shouldn’t mindlessly adopt hawkish foreign policy frames just to spite Trump?

I was poking around a bit on Google Trends this morning, and apparently one of the more common searches about Jews in the U.S. is "are Jewish people Christian?"

Has increased lately, and seems to be particularly popular in Oklahoma

Interesting. Female suicide bombers may not actually be more lethal than their male counterparts (popular belief in terrorism studies)
