A young buck with velvet antlers came for a snack. Just beyond him is the creek where our back yard ends. It is a deer superhighway.
We have a hard time growing vegetables, and they like many of my wife's favorite flowers. We come out, and an entire lily patch is bloomless.
We love seeing them.

Volunteer Mexican sunflower in m'lady's main flower patch. (my rose bush is there, a gift from my history prof sister)

M'Lady was gifted lotus seeds, and she of green thumb, sprouted them.
I made her a pond in a huge pot. Cat tails, lotus flowers, rocks, driftwood, a waterfall, fish for mosquito control.
Apparently, the lotus are pleased.

I love lights. The globe is bouncy, floatable, color changing.
Younger daughter gave me the Bigfoot figure. The asparagus fern my mother in law planted the year her daughter (my love) was born.
She makes me move the globe. It isn't there right now.
But it's charging.

The lone poppy. Tart cherry pie I made. I found a place for the Bigfoot figure my daughter gave me. The asparagus fern (my wife's from the year she was born) is ready to go outside for the summer. A bud on my Abraham Lincoln rose bush. Everything eats that poor bush.

My mother and sisters are amazing artists, that always left me feeling stunted and lacking in talent. I draw a bit, but sort of felt I had to leave art to 'real' artists.

My mother and sisters are amazing artists, that always left me feeling stunted and lacking in talent. I draw a bit, but sort of felt I had to leave art to 'real' artists.

Miniature painting is something I did not discover during my first five or so decades of life. Briefly tried pewter mini panting back in the 80s, but didn't get into it at all.

D&D tonight. Session 110 of ToA. They beat the module, and now run around the Sword Coast destroying pirate ships by dropping people changed into dinosaurs on top of them.
Fairly effective tactic. The sorcerer prefers to become an acid breathing dragon.
Taking them to 20th for the 2nd time.
Cool.

Did I make a rice pilaf with sultanas and slivered almonds? Yes, yes I did.
Did I thin slice chicken breast and poach it in stock? Yes, I did that too.
Did I make a Jamaican curry with string beans and peas for the chicken to bathe in, and be served over the rise?
I admit, I did that too.
