Servant to cats Brody, Oliver, Henry, Tiger, Brat and Zelda

On my way to pick him up right now. He peed a lot this morning and it seemed to be clear. They're going to send him home with two antibiotics and when the more detailed culture comes back in a few days, they'll be able to tell if they got him on the right one.

💪. I have a snow blower that I use when there's a lot. If there's just a little, I wait it out and let the sun melt it because the house faces south. This is that stupid in between amount and I don't shovel, I push with a giant snow shovel to the other side of the driveway.

Aaawww Grimbal 🥰. It looks like it went well since the cat isn't running away or swiping at him.

They all seem ok. Brat and Zelda actually got to eat their dinner in peace without him inhaling his and then taking theirs 🤣

They did it in house this afternoon. They couldn't do it last Saturday night because they couldn't get a sample because his bladder was empty, which at the time was good because it meant his pee wasn't backed up.

I just googled "moisturizer for dog skin after shaving" and there's stuff out there which I imagine you can use as long as you keep it away from the incision.

I'm so happy he's home! Probably not nearly as happy as he and you are 🥰
That is one very nakey doggie leg! He's going to need leg warmers.

I can't believe it and I'm just sitting here shaking my head. I don't know whether to laugh or cry that I'm doing this all over again 🤣

And for those of you who follow it along with my mom being in the hospital in August and then PT rehab for 2 months, she had a UTI due to e coli that then got into her bloodstream and it took until the fourth different antibiotic for one to start working.

The vet said he saw bacterial rods in the urine culture, probably e. Coli. He's putting him on two different antibiotics now and said that the antibiotics from last Saturday were either not given for long enough or were the wrong kind of antibiotic.

Lift off!

Good! I'd hate for you to have to join the "I had to throw out a couch and a love seat because they had been peed on so much" club!

Hopefully you can relax a little bit now that the surgery is over and he's come through it with what sounds like flying colors. Still a long road ahead, as you've said, but this was another big hurdle to put behind you.

Poor baby. But it sounds like it went well. Since you got an update, does that mean they are done?

What does your last sentence mean about a wire?

I would never stop kissing that sweet face!

All my fingers and toes crossed and I told the cats to cross their paws!

He doesn't have his painting crew audience.

Is he going in the same general spot? Put piddle pads down? Or something like this? www.chewy.com/dp/1463030?u...
