I am back to streaming!
I plan biweekly schedule, but we will see if I will be able to keep up.
This Saturday 1/11 at 6 PM CET / 12 PM ET I will explore Pulumi and will try to build something complex with it to see if it is better than Terraform.

Today I had a training about multimodal LLM led by an ML engineer who knows his stuff.
It was great to learn how it works, strengths, weaknesses and use-cases without any extra hype.

My #reinvent session NET202: Design well-architected networks on AWS is now published: youtu.be/Pd5p-fzwsLA?...
My hope is to see a little less networking anti-patterns in the wild!

Huge. Resource endpoints simplify some existing architectures and enable new use-cases, especially for SaaS. Previously you needed to put NLB in front of the resource, it is no longer needed.

What an amazing set of new features for Amazon CloudFront:
1) VPC origin - no need in internet-facing ALB as origin
2) Anycast IP - IP whitelisting definitely comes to mind
3) gRPC support

Let me get some social media points by making the world know that I passed AWS Solutions Architect Professional today! 😜
It was quite difficult. I used Stephane Maarek's udemy course and practice exams. Also working for AWS as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect definitely helped a lot!
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional was issued by Amazon Web Services Training and Certification to Dmytro Figol.
Earners of this certification have an extensive understanding of designing technical strategies to accomplish specific business goals. They demonstrated the ability to balance best practices and trade...

Planning to build complex enterprise-grade AWS network with Pulumi in the coming weeks.
I did that with TF already, but in some places I was very limited by what HCL offers.
I have high hopes for Pulumi.
I hope I will be able to share my work with the community.

Every day there's more people on the starter pack. We might need to scale up soon

what I like here: concentration of information I am interested in
what I don't like:
- discover feed is completely out of order
- desktop version doesn't show on avatar if I follow the person
what I would like:
- discover to be 100% of my following + sprinkles of other content in order

PrivateLink is my most favorite networking service on AWS. Now with UDP.
AWS announces UDP support for PrivateLink and for IPv6-enabled Network Load Balancers. I _do not_ want to know how much blood, sweat, and tears were spent to achieve this at AWS's scale. VPC remains a modern-day wonder.
