Gosh. If only there were an historical analogue we could study to learn about the horrors of rounding people up without due process and sending them to torture camps in other countries.

Amidst all the hell we're now experiencing, it seems important to note that if Trump pulled Stefanik's nomination and Musk is trying to buy a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, then clearly elections still matter and *we* should respond in kind.

I’ve seen a lot of assumptions in the media that Trump (and Musk) are targeting institutions with loyalty tests.

But that’s not quite right. They’re using dominance tests. And the difference between these two things matter. 🧵

The current secretary of education said that we should teach reading, writing, and math in our schools, but not ideology.

Ironically, if it wasn't for the ideology that everyone deserves to learn reading, writing, and math, we wouldn't have the ability to teach that to everyone.

Trump’s trying to gut funding for libraries: you can fight back with ALA.

The President's executive order to dismantle the Institute of Museum & Library Services would be deeply harmful. We need to speak out.

Take action NOW: tell Congress to protect library funding.
