So true. Here in Massachusetts when I proclaim I am Baptist I have to immediately add the caveat “not Southern Baptist”.

Theologically, here in Massachusetts ABC churches range from very conservative to very liberal. They take local church autonomy very seriously.

It was awesome. I had major heart surgery when I served as part time pastor. My premium was $65/month. Cost of surgery at top teaching hospital with the best surgeons $10 (for parking for follow up visit)
