Today Jennifer, Kathy, and I joined the protest at the capitol building in Springfield, IL. Focus of this protest: veterans/ protesting cuts to the VA. Many vets and relatives of vets spoke. Lots of encouragement from passing cars and trucks too! #protest #veterans #freedomofspeech #illinois

i dont know if the democrats are aware of this, but americans have a gut reaction to monarchy. its almost as if rejection of monarchy is a part of the dna of every american.

This is a fact everyone needs to come to grips with. Perfectly said. There is zero benefit to even speaking to a Trump voter. They are completely lost. Focus instead on motivating Democrats and those who did not vote.
The people saying, "well, they're calling Trump's bluff and once he fails to make good on his promises, voters will notice and understand, etc" amaze me, honestly. Trump deliberately tanked an immigration bill, it was a major argument in the campaign, and no one who mattered noticed or cared at all.
