Well, that's maybe a hint that the next Google might not be Google!

And OpenAI is forcing 400 million people to use ChatGPT?

I think you're conflating AI as the product, and the potential for AI to advertise products. I'm just pointing out that there hasn't been an opportunity to capitalise on qualified targets since Google added adwords to search, which was the greatest money printing machine possibly ever?

No. I'm saying people use AI in a similar way to search – coming with a need, and getting an answer – versus social, where they are checking what's happening with their friends and then are pushed a product they weren't even thinking about. As such, AI users are qualified targets for advertisers.

I drink water everyday without the water compamy having to lace it with fentanyl.

Need is a simpler business model than addiction.

Not sure about this.

Google had a naturally captive audience using search and email. It was social media companies that needed unnatural levels of engagement to a) profile a user and b) show them unsolicited ads.

Like Google, AI chat can do both without addicting a user.

Run a cold bath and do everything I would rather do more than get in a cold bath

I lean more to compressed information than in-depth, but I'd probably read both!

Human chess is engaging because of our limitations. A flawless game from a machine is not that interesting.

But fiction with profound insights and perspectives. That could be interesting.
