I remember grabbing this cassingle from Tower Records not even knowing what it was. Just took a chance on it because I liked the cover art. And when it started playing.... BAYBEE!!! Instant fave! It should have been a much bigger hit in the US...

And the irony is, to be part of ANY kind of political group requires some form of "group think" and fitting inside some kind of ideological echo chamber. With the most hardcore requiring a huge amount of self delusion and grandiosity to believe the deeper they dig into it, the more "free" they are.

The last thing Black women need to hear is ANY man telling them what they need to be doing, given their voter history and how much effort they have already put in to steer this country in the right direction. If some want to sit it out and focus on self for a while, they more than earned that.
