It's already baffling enough that some people won't use another PC store to play a game they're desperate to play.

Cats have the magical ability where you can search the entire house - including cupboards and wardrobes, shout their name in desperation for half an hour, get out treats and find no trace of them. And then they just casually stroll past you.

The first season is out in 4K Blu-Ray, the second will probably be out next year.

It's not even that good from a utility standpoint, either, and is something made much worse by the mechanics in Tears of the Kingdom.

The worst Sonic game to be released in 2006.

It could have been a decent platformer, but the catch up mechanics were beyond frustrating.

All too often you see people attacking games they never intended to play over using GenAI (like Ubisoft games) then making up excuses for games they like using it (like Expedition 33).

If they're using it at all, it's still bad.

Yes, playing, the topic was about TV shows and video games.

It's called Project Restoration. The biggest changes are fixing the Deku/Zora movement the 3DS version broke.

Other than books, there's no difference between physical and digital. The "physical" media for other things is just one particular storage method for a digital file.
November 23, 2025 at 10:53 AM
How are you playing the physical media without power?
November 23, 2025 at 10:44 AM
I've played well over 100 N64 games in the past few years that have felt good.

The 3DS version also needs a fan patch. Without it, base N64 MM is still significantly better than 3DS MM with a texture pack.
November 23, 2025 at 6:49 AM
Yeah, PS1 games feel far more awkward to play for the most part.

They picked a banging time to release a not very good FPS.

One week before this, Half-Life 2 came out. Two weeks before this, Hall 2 came out.

While not a typical FPS, Metroid Prime 2 also came out a week before this.

For an early DS game, it was quite impressive.

Plus it actually had a final boss, Oddjob, unlike the main game where he randomly attacks you in a cutscene in the middle of the game and gets thrown into a pit a second later.

Also, when Half-Life 2 was released, Steam WAS the worst DRM at the time.
November 22, 2025 at 8:12 PM
Some developers choose to release DRM free games on Steam.

Yet, despite all their "piracy is a service problem" claims, Valve's own games have DRM.

I watched that VHS so many times.

They only started offering refunds due to

- The Australian government forcing them to do so in Australia
And
- EA's Origin launching with the ability to refund games.
November 22, 2025 at 7:31 PM
"but it was just a placeholder texture that they missed".

Irrelevant. The studio still purposefully chose to use an energy guzzling theft machine to help make their game.
November 22, 2025 at 5:13 PM
Expedition 33 got good reviews. GenAI was used to help in the development of the game.
November 22, 2025 at 5:10 PM
It's a brilliant game.
November 22, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Which makes Valve's contributions to online DRM and multiple heinous microtransaction methods even worse.
