You used to be able to say "well if the [wireless/radio technology] doesn't work there's always good old reliable wires" but ever since they started putting fucking computers IN THE ACTUAL WIRES you can't say they're reliable and they're definitely way less repairable than they used to be. 👴👊☁️

My monitor at home has developed a thing whereby when it wales from sleep the computer thinks it’s connected but the screen says “no signal” and i have to plug the cable into the other port (the one that had “no signal” last time) in order for it to work.
