Sorry: I made a similar joke, hours later - but 👍.

Fred Perry withdrew the black and yellow polo because of the white supremacist Proud Boys association. Fascion is a thing and this is not a silly error by Reform UK Party Ltd.

Fred Perry withdrew their black polo with yellow piping after it became the "nod, wink" fashion item of white supremacist Proud Boys. So, scummy little white supremacy clothing brands popped up and took over the black and yellow look.

In unrelated news, Reform UK Party Ltd has launched the look.

That's it precisely. It's exactly the same for Europe, NATO and anything else after his third term starts. Martians, The Federation, The Rebel Alliance, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Trump: it's whoever speaks to him last. I hope it's Neil Young.

I lost contact with Hawkwind after 1983. Thanks for uploading this.

Incredible album and awesome song. I was bass moderator on Guitarsite yonks ago and a newbie asked what to practise. I suggested this. Paul Raven (I found out exactly now that he played on Hounds of Love) holds the root, does some fancy runs at the right time, and plays a groove that anchors it all.

Haha, I didn't know it existed. So the advert is "Empty of glucose energy", then?

Need to boil him down first, lads

I knew it had a different name, and the reason, but I had to look up what it was. It is strange, and the book and cycle shop of the same title came about considerably later. Perhaps it's a phrase in US biker circles but AI Google suggests it wasn't used before the album.

That makes it all the more impressive. I know some stuff in my head but I appreciate that you go to such effort.

Crikey, Villah. I used to play pool sometimes with Bones in The Vine in Stoke-on-Trent. Incredible that an e-chum in Germany references Discharge.

In 1989, we started coming out to Málaga (now my home) and La Cuarenta Principales (top 40) radio station played She Drives Me Crazy, "desde The Rau and the cook-ed" constantly. It's a tragedy that their 2nd album was their last - with 2 Billboard #1 singles off it.

"Recorded for £40" - this is why I love reading your posts. Every day is an education.

Great band, great album. iirc, Reefer Madness is on it. The humour and the music are both excellent.

Big Electric Cat was my favourite track and great for a bop.

Back then, when I bought my first bass - a damaged Kay Rickenbacker copy from Woolworths for £14 - Jean Jacques was my kind of bassist. Punchy, dominating riffs and refusing the space on the stage behind the PA speaker under the "TOILET" sign. I wasn't a good bassist, but I made up for it with ego.

Hit the ground as soon as they fall. Down there, they all float.

It was a shut and open (in some random forest) case.
