Rough start to 2025. Daughter's reassessment of needs for EHCP taken 51 weeks (should have been 14) and has been issued without a placement. She has high needs but above average cognitively for her age, we are now forced to have her at home. Broken education system for send kids. #send #autism

Keep getting unauthorised absent for my child at school. The problem is that she is in school with 2 TAs, so there is no chance of her not being there (I drop her off and pick her up at reception)!! I know I shouldn't let it, but it really winds me up.
