Reposting this poem translation I saved from someone's tweet a while back.

"Der Revoluzzer" (The Revoluter, by Erich Mühsam, translated by Mark Grainger)
The Revoluter By Erich Mühsam, translated by Mark Grainger A would-be revolutionary, a streetlamp cleaner, usually, paraded with a crowd of peers: his fellow revolutioneers. And he cried: "I'm revoluting!" and placed the cap he felt so cute in at a rake designed to kindle fear above his revolution-ear. But the revoluters strode in the middle of the road where he'd ordinarily be cleaning streetlamps merrily. With thoughts of building barricades, the revoluters grabbed their spades and in a bout of bad behavement dug the lampposts from the pavement. But our revolutionator cried: "I'll have to fix this later! I'm the keeper of this light. Please let it survive the night! If we snuffer out its spark our townsfolk will be in the dark. Leave the lamps up, I implore, or I won't play with you no more!" But the revoluters roared as the lantern lights were floored, and the streetlamp cleaner crept away from the parade and wept. From then on, he stayed at home and wrote an academic tome on how to revolutionate while keeping all the streetlamps straight.

Excerpt from the Wikipedia article on platform screen doors, of the Mainland China section: All metro systems in China have platform screen doors installed on most of their lines. All stations built after the mid-2000s have some form of platform barrier. From the section on Germany: People movers at Frankfurt International Airport, Munich International Airport and Düsseldorf Airport are equipped with platform screen doors, as well as the suspended monorail in Dortmund, called H-Bahn. Plans are underway to test platform screen doors on the Munich U-Bahn in 2023 and line U5 & U6 will be installed in late 2026.

I wanted to bring attention to myself in an effort to raise awareness in others. I and Andi Ass promote accountable choices with a designated driver slogan,. "BE A SMART ASS, NOT A DUMB ASS". On Jack Ass's Beer (which is actually a beer bottle with a genuine "Jack Ass Award" inside it) is a picture of me and Andi Ass with our slogan. The "SMART ASS" chooses a designated driver, rather than being a "DUMB ASS" and drink while driving. This fits perfectly with designated driver messages and open container laws. I and Andi's message of accountability is sent through humor and is best said in Andi Ass's own words: "Looking from what comes from Andi and Jack's voices, You will see we promote positive accountable choices, It is not the beer that ever causes you your harm, It's yourself connected to the drink on the end of your arm". The message of accountability is important to Andi Ass and myself and this is shown in their Mission Statement which is listed in our web site of www.andiass.com: "To build a three-way-bridge between the public, the consumer and the beverage industry, forming a common ground upon which to promote accountability in the consumption of alcohol".
