I kinda think that those lost pieces are valuable too. We learn as much from accepting a failure as we do from a triumph. Maybe more.

Sorry to hear that. Keeping that work/life balance is the hardest thing to do. I hope that the work can be a respite from the stresses of living. I'm up to my neck in it right now too.

Sometimes a piece needs to be left, or even nearly forgotten. Then, when you can bring a fresh eye to it, finished.
