I'm browsing naming sites bc I'm making a DND character and I just realized out all my maternal cousins, none of them have biblical names despite their parents being deeply religious. Meanwhile my sister and I both have biblical names despite our parents not being religious.

frederick douglass learning how to write by challenging random neighborhood boys to "I can write more letters than you" contests which he would, of course, lose, but then using that experience to learn more letters and words....... greatest of all time. truly the best to ever do it.

Just paid off my wisdom tooth anesthesia bill and oh my god why was it so fucking expensive...... like I was paying $300 per month since October and finally saved enough to pay off the rest ($1900)... now I'm fuckin broke lol.

Pretty amazing that I get all this praise from my boss for how well the beginning band concert went and then I still feel the need to start looking for a different job because of district bullshittery budget cuts. Cool.

idk if i'll keep up with it, but i've been writing out the story that i've had in my head since high school and it's weird how solid it is at this point. it's always been fragmented which is why it was hard to just sit down and write.
