Providing a very tiny sampler book of marbled paper from an exhibit and then a miniature desk and chair I’ve made, because at least for me tiny things can be very lovely while sad.
A collection of four miniature books in a display case. Two are showing their covers while one is open, displaying colorful marbled paper. Another is open to a title page reading “Double Face: Two Sided Paper Especially Marbled for This Sampler” A dollhouse scale desk and desk chair sit on top of a closed laptop. The desk is an older style and stained dark but with the laser cut edges of the wood still very visible. The chair is lighter and weathered.

Gave my Intern Insights tour at the Met today! My dearest thanks to the 17-ish people I made look at a cannon while we discussed 500 year old gossip.

Feeling grateful for getting to attend #BuildingBookLabs25. In an absolutely insane time for arts, humanities, and libraries alike my work at @skeuomorphpress.org has been a vital outlet. Getting to see the incredible work by Booklabs and artists across the country shows— we’re not going anywhere!

I promise that amidst all the checking the news in horror, the start of my printing-themed-because-I’m-a-dork Spring Break has actually been wonderful.
