Just found out that Tatsuya Nakadai passed away a few weeks ago. You may not know his name but I guarantee that you know his face if you have even a passing interest in world cinema history. Too many films to name & so many of them populate greatest films of all time. An icon. Vale.

Udo Kier. He brought the battle of fire & ice to so many moments of cinema, his eyes dancing with strange glee. Truly an iconic performer who will continue to be loved & discovered anew by every generation until the end of days. Vale.
