The same thing happened to me with my copy of Legend of Valkyrie years ago. Cleaning multiple times did nothing. I still need to replace it.

I purchased X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter as soon as it was released, and the two discs included had the labels swapped. Single Player disc was the Multiplayer disc and vice versa. I guess it must have been a trend.

Any specific recommendations for flux type, soldering tip (I have chisel on it now and a cone around here somewhere...), braid for cleaning pads (why won't these pads get CLEAN), etc?
