Need to know - "The [DPP] informed the Cabinet Secretary and the DNSA of his intention, subject to confirmation, that the CPS would not be putting forward evidence at the trial. [...] The Cabinet Secretary and DNSA therefore did not inform anyone else until shortly before the case became public."
