There's a huge difference between having to pay money to license a movie, and already owning it.
I'm sure they will either carry it in their catalog, or lease it out to make money on it. Somehow I seriously doubt with $100 Billion of debt or whatever to service, they'll let it collect dust.

This is probably better for me personally. However I suspect it means A-List Actors won't shoot for Warner Brothers any more. It's bad news for theaters, but I think it is another thing that prices have risen faster than paychecks, so it is dying out due to people willing to wait for streaming.

I'm fine with that, but instead of a regular checkerboard, we have a computer randomly change the size so every box has exactly the same number of people. Surely someone can do a neutral algorithm that can equally apportion a state into districts with the exact same number based on some random seed

I heard that when they did Wings over America. It's tough for me to believe it was s bigger hit than Band on the Run. It must have been the biggest hit in the UK only, because it really never was a big hit in the US.

Yep, although it's tough to see watt the power lines look like. I'd assume those are High or ultrahigh DC voltage lines across the Med. You'd lose way too much power with AC and field losses across the Med.

If there are energy bottlenecks, it's likely due more to growth of demand, not a change in energy supply.
Honestly, a lot of the transmission of the grid probably should be upgraded to higher voltages, and in some cases transitioned over to HVDC or even UHVDC transmission lines.

When I see Trump and clean energy I'm reminded of Kodak who invented the Digital camera, and then decided to bury the invention so it wouldn't compete with their film business. Of course, that genius decision pushed them into bankruptcy years later. Giving away industries to China is nuts.
