I believe these are Waxcap fungi. Found these in a friend’s paddock hence the gift in the bottom right corner!

The iconic fungi, poisonous but very pretty. Amanita muscaria or fly agaric.

My first cat, Biscuit, some 60+ years ago. Tattered ears from many fights with the 30+ cats the lady had at the bottom of our garden!

Our beautiful Merlin, sadly passed now. He was huge and used to reach up onto the kitchen tops to hurry us up feeding him. A gentle giant.

My wife called me out to see this wonderful humming bird moth busy feeding over our pond. Apologies for the blur but an iPhone is probably not the best way to capture this.

Wonder if my little friend will visit me tomorrow whilst I’m fishing. Almost had a kingfisher perch on the rod once.

Should keep the birds happy for a while. I think it’s a Himalayan Honeysuckle. Loads of these on the plant. Blackbirds love them.
