I tend to agree with this take. FAB is complex enough that learning to play a hero, and learning to play against a hero, go hand-in-hand. Win rates usually won't have meaningful increase over time because of play line complexity, as their opponents also get better fighting them.

I get where you are coming from, but I do think it's also good practice to play rigorously. In the PT you have to do it anyway, might as well practice for it right now. And it gets pretty annoying for the opponent to keep track of the state/what happened since talishar is not the best UI

Pure speculation: Invites are all calculated at the end of the season, not in a time-order. So P2 winning the PQ takes precedence over getting an invite from second place of an already invited person.
Though the players in question may/should send an e-mail to LSS and clarify.
