Learned about the wall in 7th grade in 1956 & vowed to put my feet on it. Did it April 18, 2018 at 5:18 pm after running a mile from my AirBnB near Haltwhistle. Made me very happy. Had a great time walking & meeting a local woman & her dog. Did Vindolanda, did a Newcastle Uni online Wall course.

@kingtides.bsky.social Today I walked the path by the Morro Bay boat basin to see the king tide. Shortly after high tide this man dropped his paddle, was unsuccessful trying to retrieve it so he did this. Maybe it’s his way of calming down. You can see the paddle on the right.
