been a little while since my last art post since i have been busy most of december but i am getting back into art, ill probably have something done either later this week or next week
for now have this half a sketch, im trying out using a much thinner brush for sketching than normally, its nice :)

Obsessing over making art for the purpose of it being content for others to consume is the KILLER of joy and motivation.
I really wish more artists (me included) would have a healthier relationship to their own art, but its so hard to in the modern internet.

For another, you can just do art and not post it. I do that all the fucking time. I make doodles for my tabletop game, I draw my little avatar guy. Art can be just for you and like four of your weirdest friends.

Its my girlfriends birthday soon so i made her a watercolor thing of her fursona shhhh nobody tell her
(She isnt on bluesky (or social media in general, really) so i can safely post it here without her seeing it)
Every time i do water color i get reminded of how much i miss it :) its so fun

Part of why i dont, is that it intimidates me so much "ohh its gonna take AGES itll take SO long ill be stuck ALL day" but no this only took like an hour or two its not that bad
