The modern state of Israel didn’t exist in 2000 BC, modern Israel was founded in 1948. Palestinians aren’t ‘nomads’; DNA shows they descend from ancient Canaanites. Canaanites were indigenous to the Levant, living in the region for thousands of years. Most Palestinians are civilians.

Hamas was founded in 1987. Palestinians were being expelled, occupied, and killed since 1948. If Hamas ‘started it,’ explain the Nakba in 1948, the occupation of Gaza in 1967, and decades of settlements and blockades, all before Hamas existed.

Collateral damage doesn’t explain this. HRW found no military target at all in that building, just 106 civilians, 54 of them kids. Again no military targets at all in the building. When over 70% of the 30k+ dead in Gaza are civilians, that’s not terrorists hiding. That’s how Israel chooses to fight.
