I'm pretty convinced that he didn't write this. "aura"? No way.

Third MP, no?

Charlie, you know full well that this is only the "concept of a plan" and like many DND musings, is unlikely to happen. Shame on you for presenting it as a fait d'accompli. #cdnpoli

I suspect it's a combination of the two. Also, it's human nature to grumble and grouse when unhappy, but until someone else makes the first move, that's all it is. Chris D'Entremont made that first move and here we are.

He only beat LPC, NDP, and Greens, collectively, by 696 votes in the last election. Not exactly a resounding mandate from his constituents.

I have a real problem with the word "progressives". Many so-called progressives would never vote NDP or Green. Some would. "Progressives" is too broad a term. Give me left, centre, right, any day. That's why the LPC considers itself centrist - it gives them room to move.

Not to mention that Ma only beat the Liberals by a measly 1,922 votes in the last election. The Greens and NDP garnered 1,226 votes. So, I can well imagine that, along with disgruntled Cons, Ma's constituents were expressing their deep unhappiness with PP. #cdnpoli

He's been PM for nine months. I never expect miracles, but I'm not willing to sit in judgment after that short period of time.

There is zilch pipeline being "rammed through" (Leadnow is nothing if not hyperbolic) and until some private corporation steps up to spend billions on a dying industry, there won't be. Chill.
