Well, my GameStop trip was a success. I got there 1 hr 20 mins before opening and was 6th in line. The store had 25 MK bundles and 10 regular.

It was actually kind of a nice experience as most people were friendly and were telling stories of previous console launches.

Give me some expanded Diddy Kong Racing style single-player in Mario Kart and the long wait will have been worth it.
Mario Kart 9 has oddly flat and massive tracks

I’m theorizing that on top of 24 players, that there’s some sort of adventure/open world mode too

Perhaps like The Crew which had a recreated USA map

I could see Metroid Prime 4 having mouse-con support on Switch 2 and that would be a neat bonus to differentiate cross-gen versions besides just a resolution bump or something.

I don’t react to too much nowadays, but I felt like I had to for a new Nintendo console. So here’s 2 mins of me reacting and 15 mins of me speculating about what comes next.

Pretty good reveals at TGA overall: Okami, Virtua Fighter, New Naughty Dog IP, New RGG IP, Onimusha.

Plus Astro Bot winning GOTY was nice to see too.

I’m in that weird in between game place. Where I’m waiting for a game coming out soon - Dragon Age: The Veilguard - and I don’t really want to start anything big that I won’t finish before then.

But there aren’t really any short games I have to play right now.

I dream of Nintendo calling Switch 2’s HD rumble 4K rumble. I know they’ll probably just say it has improved haptics and feedback or something, but please call it 4K rumble, it’d be hilarious.
Launches with Kuru Kuru Kururuin but the new enhanced HD rumble hurts you if you touch the edge
What do you think Switch 2's First-Party Year 1 will look like?

Sacred Cards was always my favorite. I loved its structure. But like a lot of people, I was just a big sucker for anything Battle City arc related.

This news had me digging into recent PS4 new game sales and let's just say that this approach is... I'll call it optimistic.

PS4's are active, sure. They're Fortnite (1/3 of all active PS4 users played Fortnite in September), Call of Duty, GTAV and Roblox machines.

Shrug.
SEGA and Sonic Team will continue supporting PS4 to ensure higher sales potential
SEGA has no plans to stop supporting the PlayStation 4 because the system is still very popular, and the publisher wants to widen sales potential.
