Way I see it: Black professionalism does not and should not equate to white standards of professionalism anyway. We can still operate and communicate in these spaces effectively as our authentic selves. They sure do. Some of them border on unprofessional DAILY and been with the company for decades.

I’ve been praying about a part time job and not wanting to have to move after my lease. 2 days later, why I got a job today NO INTERVIEW!!!!! I walked in and met the lady, and she told me they just had a need!!! God is so good! It works with my work schedule AND it’s with the grade level I love!
