I'm glad that those people are so comfortable that they think of it as nothing but an annoyance, but I *will* speak about issues, no exceptions.

I don't expect most people to know that it's a term with those origins considering how integrated it has become with "customization".
I'm from Sweden and the concept of "ricing" and its supposed acronyms doesn't even make sense in my language.
I'll personally be patient with ppl using the term.

If the term was originally used with racist intent, then it is not anyone’s place to “re-define” it, even though it’s used in a harmless sense with a different implied meaning.
So I will make edits where possible, and come up with more elegant terms to use in the future. 🐱 yap over

I’ve come to the conclusion After doing some reading that it’s not a term that is used with derogatory intent by the vast majority of people; whether it’s cars or linux shenanigans.
Be that as it may, I will change the terms I use in the future because proper terminology is preferable.
