I've had to restart earlier saves from the end of a previous level a lot. Thank GOODNESS there were earlier saves, otherwise I would have had to restart the whole game.
This is a game that could have benefitted from a level select. Hindsight is 20/20 though. (2/2)

In the latter case again, when I'm choosing to move the right stick, the direction determines how I move around the character in my perspective.
Whereas in the former case it determines the view of the character's view directly as if they're following a laser pointer, their eyes are my eyes.

In the former, my brain registers a reticle as a cursor, I'm controlling its placement like using a mouse on a pad.
In the latter, I subconsciously envision the camera as a 2nd character, on a floating crane/dolly.
