Not about him but about the type of people who voluntarily interacted with him: he had a woman over who saw me playing Wesnoth. She asked me what I was playing, I explained it was a turn-based tactical game. She stared blankly for a second and then said, "oh so like Halo?"

This has been my experience with this. Except for generating placeholder crap. I guess for that it's fine.

This warning is a damning indictment of the tech industry's failure to educate (and in many cases, deliberate attempts to mislead) the public. This shouldn't need to be said. This was always the case with email, instant messaging, etc.

Here's a photo from a month or so earlier before it seemed like there was any noticable QoL impact from what was going on. The surgery in January to unblock his gut was very much worth it.

Thanks. This is Wesley, he was a very sweet boy, most personable cat I've ever met. This was taken only a day or so before we had to make the call. In stills he looked great, but the cancer had made it to his lungs and his breathing was quite difficult and shallow and was limiting his mobility.
